As per our Terms of Use, if a platform is using our Vonza Payment gateway - where all credit and debit card transactions are processed using Stripe, then their customers are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of their initial payment.
Issuing a Refund
Platform owners can issue refunds through Vonza within 30 days of the purchase date. After 30 days, platform owners no longer have the ability to issue refunds using Vonza. In order to issue a refund after 30 days, platform owners have to issue refunds through a third-party service (e.g. PayPal, check, wire transfer).
When a refund is issued for a transaction through Vonza Payments, then all transaction and processing fees are returned to the platform owner. If a partial refund is issued, then platform owners are only charged transaction and processing fees for the non-refunded amount of the transaction—the rest of the fees are returned to the platform owner. Customers should allow for their credit card refunds to take up to 7-10 business days to process.
Refund Issues
There are several reasons why a customer may not have received their refund. Before contacting Vonza Support, we recommend reviewing the following:
Refund Date - If the refund was issued on a credit card transaction, then it may take up to 7-10 business days to process with Stripe.
Refund Destination - Refunds are issued to the customer’s original payment method. Make sure that your customer is checking the correct account and/or bank statement.
Statement Details - If the original transaction was processed by Vonza Payments, then the refund will appear on the statement as Vonza. If the original transaction was processed by a custom payment gateway, then the name of your platform will typically appear on the customer’s statement.
Chargeback - If the customer disputed the transaction with their credit card company or PayPal, then the transaction is put on hold by their bank and a refund cannot be processed until the customer withdraws their dispute.
REFUND POLICY
Vonza DOES NOT offer refund for the use of the Vonza software/platform or for any other services or products rendered on the site www.vonza.com. If a customer wishes to discontinue using the Vonza software/platform, the customer can simply cancel their Vonza account and there will be no further billing. You may cancel your Vonza account at any time by sending an email requesting cancellation of account to info@vonza.com. In some cases, a refund may be considered if a customer wants to cancel their account within 7 days of signing up for the Vonza software. But NO REFUND will be considered after 7 days passed of signing up/or using the Vonza software. Using the Vonza software includes you the customer adding your platform name, images, uploading any content including video, contacts, products, services, books, t-shirt's, pdf, word document, audio files and any kind of content. By signing up on the Vonza software you are agreeing to Vonza No Refund Policy. It cost us financial resources to host your platform, content and render services including customer service and tech support to you while using our software and services. So no refund will be considered or due to you after 7 days of using the Vonza software/platform.
